Abstract
In this research,NH2-propyl-POSS was synthesized via the hydrolysis method employing silane as the precursor.Subsequently,POE-g-POSS was successfully prepared through the amide reaction between NH2-propyl-POSS and POE-g-MAH.The completion of these synthesis reactions was rigorously verified by infrared spectroscopy and 1H NMR analysis,ensuring the desired products were achieved.An investigation was conducted to evaluate the influence of POE-g-POSS and POE on the properties of PPR injection-molded strips and pipes.The results revealed that,at an additive level of 7.5%,POE-g-POSS exhibited superior performance compared to POE,enhancing the tensile strength,flexural strength,and Vicat softening temperature of the tested strips by 23.2%,17.5%,and 2.2℃,respectively.The pipe properties indicated that both POE-g-POSS and POE significantly increased the maximum drop height of PPR pipes without rupture by 100%.However,when compared with POE,POE-g-POSS demonstrated superior pressure resistance time,suggesting that POE-g-POSS exhibits exceptional modification effects on PPR pipes.关键词
