高产广适玉米新品种郧单28的选育
Breeding of a New Maize Variety'Yundan 28'with a High Yield and Wide Adaptability

Abstract
'Yundan 28'is a new hybrid maize variety bred by the Shiyan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Enshi Academy of Agricultural Sciences,with the parental combination of'WD07×12ED27'.This variety was selected to participate in the regional trial of maize varieties in mountainous areas of Hubei Province from 2022 to 2023,achieving the average yield of 11 016.45 kg/hm2,which increased by 10.16%compared with that of the control variety'Huayu 11'.In July 2024,it was approved by the Crop Variety Approval Committee of Hubei Province.'Yundan 28'had the characteristics of a high and stable yield,strong disease resistance,and wide adaptability.It is suitable for spring maize cultivation in hilly areas of Hubei Province and middle-and low-altitude areas of Sichuan Province.This paper introduces the breeding ideas,breeding process,parent and variety characteristics,yield performance,and cultivation techniques of'Yundan 28',aiming to provide reference for the promotion and application of this variety in production.关键词
