摘要

Abstract

This paper focuses on the comprehensive reform pathways for the connotative development of continuing education in higher education insti-tutions.Based on the national strategy for educational modernization and the concept of lifelong learning,it elaborates on the definition and contemporary significance of connotative development,analyzes the existing issues in current continuing education,including imperfect management systems,insuffi-cient institutional commitment,weak social engagement and the need for improved teaching quality,and explores potential reform approaches.The study finds that advancing the connotative development of continuing education in higher education institutions requires optimizing curriculum systems,innova-ting teaching models,strengthening faculty development and improving quality assurance mechanisms.This paper aims to provide theoretical foundations and practical guidance for enhancing the quality and effectiveness of continuing education in higher education.
