铁尾矿掺合料对砂浆强度及收缩开裂性能影响研究
Investigation of the influence on strength and shrinkage cracking performance of mortar with iron tailings as admixture

Abstract
To address the environmental issues caused by the massive stockpiling of iron tailings,this study investigates the resource utilization in the construction materials sector.Using the iron tailings powder(472ITP)with a specific surface area of 472 m2/kg,iron tailings mud with a specific surface area of 320 m2/kg(320ITM)and 430 m2/kg(430ITM),respectively,as the admixture of mortar,the influence of iron tailings on the strength and shrinkage cracking performance of mortar was investigated with the replacement ratio of admixture as the experimental variables.The results indicate that when the replacement ratio is 10%,the 472ITP10 and 430ITM10 specimens exhibite no reduction in compressive strength and flexural strength at both 7-day and 28-day curing periods.When the replacement level is increased to 20%,the 320ITM20 formulation demonstrate the highest compressive strength while simultaneously achieving a significant reduction in shrinkage strain ranging from 33.03%to 38.54%compared to the control group.Considering the influence of iron tailings admixture on the strength and shrinkage of mortar,a 20%replacement ratio for iron tailings powder and mud is recommended.The conclusions of the study can provide theoretical references for the application of iron tailings admixture in mortar.关键词
