Inertia adaptive control and secondary adjustment control of grid forming hybrid energy storage system considering SOC constraints

Abstract
Aiming at the problem that the grid-structured energy storage converter controlled by virtual synchronous generator is difficult to change the virtual inertia at will and the frequency capability of the transient support system is insufficient,an inertia secondary adjustment method considering the state of charge of the supercapacitor in the hybrid energy storage system is proposed based on the inertia adaptive control of the traditional grid-structured energy storage converter.By controlling the output of different types of batteries to respond to the high-frequency and low-frequency components in the frequency disturbance signal,the active support of the system is realized.The RTLAB hardware-in-the-loop experimental platform is constructed,and different inertia control strategies are compared and analyzed.The results show that the proposed strategy can not only prevent the super capacitor from overcharging and over-discharging,but also improve the output characteristics of the transient process of the super capacitor,and effectively improve the transient support ability of the grid-structured energy storage converter.关键词
