Application and Progress of Modified Frailty Index in Elderly Orthopedic Diseases
摘要
Abstract
With the intensification of population aging,the incidence of geriatric orthopedic diseases has been increasing year by year.How to effectively assess the health status of elderly orthopedic patients and provide a reference basis for comprehensive periop-erative intervention for elderly patients has become a focus of attention for orthopedic physicians.The Modified Frailty Index(mFI),as a comprehensive assessment tool,has been increasingly widely used in geriatric orthopedic diseases in recent years.This article reviewed the basic concept,assessment methods of mFI and its application progress in geriatric orthopedic diseases,and focused on discussing its role in risk assessment,surgical decision-making,prediction of postoperative complications,and rehabilitation manage-ment of geriatric orthopedic diseases.The aim is to provide clinical doctors with an application guideline of mFI in the management of geriatric orthopedic diseases and provide more support for the comprehensive management of elderly orthopedic patients.关键词
