Assessment and Surgical Treatment Progress for Knee Flexion Deformity in Cerebral Palsy
摘要
Abstract
Cerebral palsy often accompanies limb deformities,including abnormalities in the upper limbs,hips,knees,ankles,and feet,which significantly hinder the daily activities and mobility of affected chil-dren.Among these,knee flexion deformity is a common limb deformity seen in children with cerebral palsy.Cur-rent treatment options encompass brace therapy,rehabilitation exercises,botulinum toxin therapy,soft tissue sur-gery,bony surgery,and external fixation.Each treatment modality has specific indications,and there is no cur-rent consensus or guidelines.This article reviews the causes,assessment,and treatment options for knee flexion deformity in cerebral palsy,providing references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this condition.关键词
