论欲道之辩中的传统幸福观及其对当下幸福观建构的启示
On the Traditional Concept of Happiness in the Debate on Desire and Dao and Its Implication for Constructing Contemporary Concept of Happiness
摘要
Abstract
Based on different stances in the debate on desire and Dao,we can interpret the traditional wisdom of happiness,which is rooted in the complementary philosophies of Confucianism and Daoism in ancient China,as the"joy in Dao"concept of happiness.Due to the drawback of this concept of happiness,which neglects or even disregards the material basis of happiness,people have criticized the"joy in Dao"tradition since the May 4th New Culture Movement.During this period,the"joy in desire"concept of happiness that prioritizes the fulfillment of material desires,has profoundly shaped the contemporary national mentality.While motivating Chinese people to achieve remarkable material progress,it has also triggered the alienation of"enslavement of mind by material desires"in the realm of happiness.To construct concept of happiness in contemporary China,we urgently need to critically inherit and innovatively develop the"joy in Dao"tradition within the dual context of material abundance and spiritual richness.关键词
