Interactional Functions of"Dangran"("当然")Response to Polar Questions
摘要
Abstract
By integrating syntax,prosody and embodied conducts,this study examines the interactional functions of dangran("当然")as a response to polar questions in Chinese daily conversation from the perspective of interactional linguistics.Findings have shown that dangran("当然")is very sensitive to the conversational sequence.Respondents not only apply dangran to indicate the undoubtedness of the matter under discussion,but also use it to show their affections such as strong will,agreement,refutation and dissatisfaction in different interactional situations.关键词
