Six Dimensions of Rolston's Environmental Ethics
摘要
Abstract
Resolving ecological crisis and seeking harmony between man and nature are the common choice of environmental ethics and Chinese modernization.Rolston's environmental ethics was born in response to the globalization of ecological crisis and the transformative changes in the relationship between man and nature during the Anthropocene era.It contains a series of ideas and methods,which can be interpreted from the six dimensions of teleology,ontology,axiology,moralism,methodology and realm theory as"radical and revolutionary"ethics,ecological holism ontology,naturalist system value theory,moral obligation theory of"following the great nature",ecological methodology integrating naturalism and humanism,and realm theory of poetic inhabitation.A postmodern environmental ethics paradigm has been formed,based on the philosophy of"wilderness",with naturalistic systemic value theory as the core,"root cause"mentality as the characteristic,and the integration of subject and object.Thus,it can provide important ideological references for us to construct an environmental ethics that emphasizes the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature.关键词
