Reconstruction of agricultural scientific research information dissemination platform based on microservice architecture

Abstract
[Purpose]Reconstructing research institute portals based on a microservices architec-ture to cope with the challenges of the popularity of emerging media in information dissemination methods,security,and scalability.[Method]This study proposed a scientific information dissemination and management solution based on a microservices architecture.Building on a comprehensive review of microservices architecture concepts,technologies,and their applications domestically and internationally,the solution integrated a content management system(CMS),streaming media management system,unified identity authentication system,and full-text search engine through microservices architecture and a distributed collaborative management mechanism.This integration aimed to enhance the platform's scalability,flexibility,and processing capabilities.Taking the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences(CAAS)portal website as an example,the study explored strategies for applying microservices architecture and distributed collaborative management mechanisms to integrate scientific research portals.This approach achieved coordinated operations among the CMS,streaming media management,and full-text search engine supporting the portal.[Result]Application and demonstration results showed that the solution improved the response speed of the CAAS portal by 40%,increased daily visits to 15 000,and raised video resource library traffic to 40%of total visits.[Conclusion]The innovative solution addresses bottlenecks in the information dissemination for research institution portals,enhances user experience and platform security,and supports the rapid dissemination and application of scientific information.关键词
