Chemical Evolution Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Groundwater in the Western Funnel Area of Hengshui under Exploitation Reduction

Abstract
This study applied hydrogeochemical methods and statistical analysis to investigate the temporal and spatial variations in groundwater chemistry in the funnel area of western Hengshui under the condition of reduced groundwater exploitation,along with the factors influencing these changes.The results indicated that reducing groundwater exploitation slowed the rate of groundwater level decline in both deep and shallow aquifers,with partial recovery of water levels in the deep funnel area.Reducing groundwater exploitation caused the accumulation of both cations and anions(except for HCO-3)in the funnel area.The chemical composition of both deep and shallow groundwater was primarily influenced by alternating cation adsorption,as well as the dissolution of halite,silicate rocks,and evaporite salts.Additionally,during the period of groundwater reduction exploitation,fluctuations in groundwater depth and the rate of these fluctuations played a key role in the changes in water chemistry.关键词
