基于MODIS植被供水指数与植被状态指数的干旱监测研究
Research on Drought Monitoring Based on MODIS Vegetation Water Supply Index and Vegetation Condition Index—Taking Hebei Province as an Example

Abstract
Droughts occur frequently and cause great damage in China,especially in Hebei,and timely monitoring of drought occurrence,development and damage is of great significance for drought prevention and drought relief.In order to monitor the drought status and drought development in Hebei,the study was conducted to obtain the vegetation condition index(VCI)and vegetation water supply index(VSWI)based on the MODIS data from 2001 to 2023,and combined with the measured soil relative humidity data from the agro-geological stations,to establish a fitting model of VCI and soil relative humidity on a decade-by-decade basis,and the soil relative humidity drought level was converted to VCI drought level standard based on national standards for remote sensing drought monitoring.The actual drought data in Hebei Province were obtained by inverse distance weight interpolation to verify the monitoring accuracy of the two indices.The results show that the monitoring results of VSWI in March and April 2019 significantly deviated from the actual drought conditions and behaved erratically,while VCI matched well with the actual drought conditions in terms of spatial distribution and drought development trend,proving its reliability.The study provides an effective method for drought monitoring in Hebei,which is of great significance for drought prevention and drought relief.关键词
