摘要

Abstract

Anthocyanins have significant value in the fields of consumption,medical and medicinal due to their antioxidant properties.Purple fresh-edible maize is rich in anthocyanins and is well received by con-sumers.There are significant differences in the content and distribution of anthocyanins in different varieties of fresh-edible maize.In this study,transcriptome analysis and anthocyanin related gene expression analysis were carried out based on the difference of anthocyanin distribution in two sweet maize varieties Luheitiannuo 201 and Lutiannuo 191 kernels and the transcriptome sequencing results of their fruit peels and peeled seeds.The results showed that anthocyanins were distributed in peel of Luheitiannuo 201 kernels while in aleurone layer of Lutiannuo 191.There were 1 093 significantly differentially expressed genes(DEGs)screened out between Luheitiannuo 201 peeled seeds(NZL201)and Lutiannuo 191 peeled seeds(ZL191),and 1 340 DEGs in peel group of the two varieties.Compared with Lutiannuo 191 fruit peel(ZP191),the expression level of an-thocyanin synthesis related genes of Luheitiannuo 201 fruit peel(NZP201)significantly raised.But compared with ZL191,the expression level of anthocyanin synthesis related genes of NZL201 significantly decreased.A total of 33 MYB,bHLH and WD40 transcription factors that expressed significantly differently were screened out in the two groups(NZP201 vs ZP191,NZL201 vs ZL191),among which,the key transcription factor genes C1(MYB),R1(bHLH)and pl1(MYB)regulating anthocyanin synthesis were significantly differenti-ally expressed.The synergistic expression of these DEGs might be the key to high anthocyanin accumulation in Luheitiannuo 201 and differences of anthocyanin distribution in Luheitiannuo 201 and Lutiannuo 191.
