Abstract

In order to understand the evolutionary process of MADS-box genes in mung bean(Vigna radiate),a total of 77 VrMADS-box genes were identified by genome-wide analysis,which distributed on 11 chromosomes,a-mong which,chromosome 7 had the most with a total of 18 genes.VrMADS-box genes were divided into typeⅠand typeⅡ.TypeⅠVrMADS-box genes were further divided into three subbranches of Mα(15),Mβ(4)and Mγ(11),and typeⅡVrMADS-box genes were divided into two subbranches of MIKCc(44)and MIKC∗(3).The MIKCc sub-branch could be divided into 12 subfamilies,of which,the flowering time locus C(FLC)subfamily was absent in mung bean.There were 18 duplicate gene pairs in mung bean genome,and interspecific collinearity analysis showed that the genome of mung bean contained 39 and 171 homologous gene pairs with Arabidopsis thaliana and soybean(Glycine max),respectively.Different subfamilies of VrMADS-box genes had significant differences in gene struc-ture and expression patterns,which indicated that they might play different roles in growth and development of mung bean.This study revealed the information and expression pattern of VrMADS-box gene family,which would be helpful to further study the function and molecular mechanism of VrMADS-box gene family in mung bean.
