Abstract
Objective To explore the role of risk management based on FOCUS-PDCA theory in improving the quality of anesthesia care in operating rooms.Methods A total of 200 patients who underwent surgical treatment at Caoxian County Hospital from February 2022 to March 2024 were selected.The patients admitted to the hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were assigned to the pre-implemen-tation group(control group,n=100)and those admitted to the hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were assigned to the post-imple-mentation group(observation group,n=100),according to risk management nursing method based on the FOCUS-PDCA theory.The quality of anesthesia nursing in operating rooms,incidence of nursing errors and intraoperative adverse reactions,and patient satisfaction were compared before and after the implementation of FOCUS-PDCA theory.Results The quality score of anesthesia nursing in the oper-ating room of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of nursing errors(1.00％)and intraoperative adverse reactions(1.00％)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(9.00％and 8.00％,respectively;P＜0.05).The overall patient satisfaction rate in the observation group(85.00％)was significantly higher than that in the control group(65.00％)(P＜0.05).Conclusion Risk management based on the FOCUS-PDCA theory helps improve the quality of anesthesia nursing in the operating room,reduce the occurrence of nursing errors and intraoperative adverse reac-tions,and improve the satisfaction rate of patiens nursing care.关键词
