摘要

Abstract

In view of the unqualified low-temperature toughness of 690 MPa grade large-thickness offshore steel,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the unqualified low-temperature toughness by studying the rolling process,chemical composition,mechanical properties,and metallographic structure of 690 MPa grade large-thickness offshore steel.The results show that the main reason for the failure of 690 MPa grade large-thickness offshore steel in low temperature impact is that the cooling rate at the center of the steel plate is low,the hardenability is insufficient,and a large amount of coarse granular bainite is produced.For this reason,optimization measures such as high reduction controlled rolling and secondary quenching were adopted to improve the low-temperature toughness of the steel plate and increase the performance pass rate.
