Identification of Fusarium Root Rot in Soybeans in Shandong Province and Efficacy Evaluation of Biocontrol Fungi

Abstract
Soybean(Glycine max)is an important grain and economic crop,and root rot is one of the major diseases affecting soybean yield.In this study,symptomatic soybean plants were collected from major soybean-producing areas in Shandong Province,followed by the isolation and identification of Fusarium spe-cies and the screening of biocontrol fungi.The results showed that eight pathogenic Fusarium species were iso-lated from 53 sampling sites.Among which,Fusarium solani had the highest isolation frequency of 69.81%;F.culmorum exhibited the strongest pathogenicity with disease severity index of 71.43%in infected soybean plants;Trichoderma asperellum and T.harzianum demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on Fusarium growth with relative control efficacies of 36.81%and 32.79%,respectively,suggesting their potential as alter-natives to chemical fungicides.This study highlighted provided new insights and practical approaches to ensure soybean yield and food safety.关键词
