The Merchant-Sage's Legacy:Bai Gui's Economic Strategies and Their Modern Implications from Shiji Huozhi Liezhuan Perspectives

Abstract
In the process of learning westward,Chinese business theory has gradually been forgotten;Standing in a new historical era,Chinese business theory urgently needs to be excavated and recon-structed.Bai Gui was one of the leading business management thinkers in the pre Qin period.He at-tached great importance to studying the laws of production and management,and developed a series of business management theories,such as the business principle of"taking from the time",the economic thinking of'optimistic about changing times',and the business strategy of'long money,low grain'.Bai Gui's business management ideas are based on the theory of economic cycles,integrating business forecasting,business strategies,business decision-making judgments,and business ethics.Bai Gui also creatively proposed the theory of business talent quality and the emotional management concept of'sharing hardships and joys',presenting rich theoretical implications.Bai Gui's business management philosophy mainly absorbed the theories of Taoism,Confucianism,and military strategy,and has the characteristics of simple materialism and simple dialectics.Today,in the new era of promoting the'creative transformation'and'innovative development'of China's excellent traditional business manage-ment culture,Bai Gui's business management ideas still have important theoretical significance and practical value.关键词
