Abstract
Talent is the core embodiment of industrial competitiveness,and fully releasing the role of talent in promoting the development of the digital economy and industrial agglomeration is an impor-tant task to promote the high-quality development of the economy and society and to cultivate new quality productivity.The article utilizes the panel data of 29 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China from 2012 to 2021 to study the impact of human capital quality on manufacturing in-dustry agglomeration.The results show that:first,the improvement of regional human capital quality can significantly promote the growth of industrial agglomeration level;second,high-quality talents can help to improve the level of regional industrial agglomeration through the knowledge spillover and knowledge absorption effects generated in the inter-firm and inter-regional mobility,and the quality of human capital can contribute to the formation of industrial agglomeration through the enhancement of regional digitalization level and innovation capacity;third,human capital Thirdly,the impact of hu-man capital quality on the level of manufacturing industry agglomeration exists in terms of technology level and regional heterogeneity,and the impact on high-tech industries is significantly higher than that on low-tech industries,and the impact on the eastern region is significantly higher than that on the cen-tral and western regions.Therefore,regions should pay attention to focusing on improving the quality of local human capital according to local conditions,focusing on matching the layout of manufacturing industry clusters with the functional positioning of regions and industries,guiding the digital transfor-mation of industrial development,and forming the advantage of industrial upgrading dominated by in-dustrial agglomeration.The research of the article provides opinions and suggestions for the formula-tion of regional and industrial talent policies and industrial cluster development policies.关键词
