摘要

Abstract

Unveiling the pathways through which health information on short-video platforms exerts persuasive effects can enhance the utility of such resources in individual health management and decision-making.Grounded in the elaboration likelihood model(ELM),this study identifies key factors influencing the persuasion of health information on short-video platforms and their configuration pathways by analyzing information characteristics and individual traits through grounded theory and fsQCA.The findings reveal that information quality,source credibility,presentation quality,peer influence,health awareness,health literacy,and self-efficacy are the primary factors affecting persuasion.Configuration analysis shows that there are three pathways driving the persuasion of health information on short-video platforms:health literacy and information quality-driven,information quality and peer influence-driven,and self-efficacy and presentation quality-driven.
