Rock breaking characteristics and experiments of split bit
摘要
Abstract
As a component that directly interacts with the rock during drilling,the rock breaking behavior of the drill bit tooth will directly affect the rate of penetration.The tooth of the cone bit will face the problems of peripheral ring̍s failure and low rock breaking efficiency during drilling.In order to solve these problems,a new split cone bit was designed.A kinematic analysis model of the cutting teeth of the bit was established,to analyze the influence of key parameters of the bit.The dis-placement,velocity,acceleration values and trajectory of specific points on the cutting tooth ring of the split bit were ob-tained.The results show that the small cutting ring in the center of the split bit could improve the efficiency of the central rock breaking.The split bit has a greater cutting and impact effect on the bottom rock,which proves that the split bit has a better speed enhancement effect and better impact cutting performance than the conventional bit for the central rock breaking.The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results,which verifies the rationality of bit design and cor-rectness of the theoretical analysis.关键词
