Abstract
Objective To analyze the dental caries monitoring results in Beijing Shijingshan Experimental Middle School from the academic year 2015 to 2024.Methods The caries information of permanent teeth in the health examination data of students in Beijing Shijingshan Experimental Middle School from the academic year 2015 to 2024 was statistically collected,the indicators of caries rate,the decayed,missing,or filled teeth count and caries filling rate of students'permanent teeth and their changing trends were analyzed.Results From 2015 to 2024 academic year,a total of 5464 students were tested.The caries rate of permanent teeth was 27.09%,the decayed,missing,or filled teeth count was 0.59,and the caries filling rate was 44.46%.Comparing different academic years from 2015 to 2024,there were statistically significant differences in the caries rate,the decayed,missing,or filled teeth count and caries filling rate of permanent teeth among students(P<0.05).Except for the academic years from 2017 to 2018,the caries rate of permanent teeth among female students was higher than that among male students in every other academic year,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the academic years of 2017-2018 and 2022-2023,the caries filling rate of female students was higher than that of male students,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The caries filling rate of male students was higher than that of female students in the academic years of 2023-2024,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The caries rate of permanent teeth among students aged 12 to 15 was 27.09%,the the decayed,missing,or filled teeth count was 0.59,and the caries filling rate was 44.46%.There were statistically significant differences in the caries prevalence rate,decayed,missing,or filled teeth count and filling rate among different ages(P<0.05).Conclusion The caries rate of permanent teeth among students in Beijing Shijingshan Experimental Middle School from the academic year 2015 to 2024 is 27.09%,while the filling rate is 44.46%.The caries rate of permanent teeth in female students is higher than that in male students.Oral preventive health care needs to be further strengthened.关键词
