摘要

Abstract

In this paper,X-ray powder diffractometer,infrared absorption spectrometer,laser Raman spectrometer,laser ablation-inductively coupled plasm-mass spectrometer and ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer have been used to study the mineralogical characteristics,spectral characteristics and colour genesis of this pink seal stone.The results indicate that the pink seal stone contains main mineral of talc and auxiliary mineral of cummingtonite,the content of Fe and Mn in"pink steatite"is relatively high,while the content of Mn is positively associated with pink tone.The average content of Fe and Mn is 210.97×10-6,11.50×10-6 in the light part of the sample,and the UV-visible absorption spectra shows an absorption broadband centered at 515 nm,it is considered that the Mn2+and Mn3+replace Mg2+in the crystal structure of talc may be the main cause of its pink appearance.
