摘要

Abstract

A solubility model for fluorite in water,NaCl,and CaCl2 solutions is developed based on the thermodynamic theory,using the chemical potential of water as the foundation.The model can be used to calculate the solubility of fluorite in water,NaCl solutions,and CaCl2 aqueous solutions.Additionally,the model can also be applied to calculate the solubility of fluorite in NaCl and CaCl2 aqueous solutions.The overall average relative deviation for these systems is close to or below the measurement uncertainty,and the model accurately reproduces most of the existing experimental data.The standard molar enthalpy of formation ΔfH(ø)(T0)and standard molar entropy S(ø)(T0)for the dissolution of CaF2(M(aq))calculated by this model are-2 939.011 5 kJ·mol-1 and 597.21 J·mol-1·K-1,respectively.The results demonstrate that under lower crustal and upper mantle conditions,the high solubility of fluorine in H2O and H2O-NaCl systems can significantly enhance the mobilization of rare earth elements(REE)through the formation of fluorine-bearing complexes.
