Abstract
Based on previous research and the latest well and seismic data,this article analyzes the development characteristics of faults and the inheritance transformation characteristics of structural evolution in different periods of the Meso-Cenozoic era.The results indicate that in the late Indosinian period of the study area,under the compression from south to north,NW-EW trending thrust faults and wide gentle folds were formed,and the initial pattern of basin evolution began to form,with differences gradually emerging between the north and south.The fault activity during the Yanshan-Himalayan period inherited and transformed early thrust faults.In the early Yanshan period,the compressive stress gradually shifted from NS to NW,and developed near NS and NNE compressional strike slip faults;The mid Yanshan period is characterized by extensional rifting in the central-northern region,with the development of reverse structures,while the southern region is subjected to erosion.In the late Yanshan period,there was overall uplift,the development of thrust faults,and erosion.The early Himalayan period was characterized by NW-ES trending rifts,and the Mesozoic faults underwent another reversal,developing a series of NE-NNE trending extensional strike slip faults.The ultimate formation of today's multi-faceted and multi-directional fault system and complex and variable basin basement.关键词
