摘要
Abstract
The precondition of favorable agricultural natural conditions,self-reinforcing cycle of smallholder farming systems,and the ideology of"building a nation on agriculture while suppressing commerce"constitute the fundamental historical premises for the absence of spontaneous modernization in traditional China.These factors collectively represent the Chinese answer to the riddle of Braudel's Bell Jar.The expansion of global capitalism and the failure of the Opium War triggered a comprehensive crisis of the traditional smallholder production system comprehensively.The historical proposition of China's modernization is gradually unfolding amidst internal and external predicaments.In the context of advancing the construction of a great modern socialist country with Chinese characteristics today,we should face up to the essential requirement of modernization,which is the socialized mode of mass production based on division of labor and cooperation.Avoiding over-reliance on natural conditions and fostering an ideology that aligns with socialized mass production are key to seizing historical initiative and steering the course of Chinese-style modernization.These insights are of profound importance for comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.关键词
