How Does the Use of New Media Affect the Cognition of the elderly care Responsibility?

Abstract
With the intensification of aging and the rapid development of new media technology,new media play an important role in shaping the public's cognition of the elderly care responsibility.Based on CGSS2021 data,it's to make an empirical study on the influence of new media on the public's cognition of old-age care responsibility and its mechanism by applying the disordered multi-classification regression model,aiming to further understand the public's tendency to support the elderly and their own old-age care methods in the information age.The results show that individuals using new media are more likely to endorse with the socialized old-age care mode;individual cognitive ability and physical function have a positive mediating effect between new media and the elderly care responsibility cognition;regional differences in media use will lead to differences in individual pension responsibility cognition.Therefore,the society should pay attention to the advantages of media communication and improve the social pension system;optimize the content of media communication and promote the development of active aging;adjust the information dissemination strategy according to local conditions and establish a correct concept of old-age care.关键词
