Quality Control of Human-Machine Co-Created Digital Educational Resources in the Era of Generative Artificial Intelligence:Framework and Strategies

Abstract
In the era of generative artificial intelligence(GAI),the co-creation of digital educational resources by humans and machines is emerging as a vital complement to traditional resource development.This paradigm shift holds the potential to redefine how digital educational content is produced and utilized.However,the rapid adoption of human-machine co-creation also introduces quality risks that may hinder its sustainable integration into educational practice.This study systematically reviews the literature on quality control and assurance in three domains:traditional digital educational resources,user-generated content,and human-machine co-created resources.It further analyzes the co-creation process to identify five key factors affecting resource quality,including data uncertainty,algorithmic limitations,prompt precision,the granularity of content recombination,and alignment with user needs.To address these challenges,the study develops an integrated quality control framework consisting of three dimensions:production-oriented,product-oriented,and user-oriented controls.The framework's structure and elements are also examined through relevant theoretical perspectives.On this basis,the study proposes three strategies for future practices:first,establish a comprehensive evaluation index system for human-machine co-created digital educational resources;second,strengthen governance over the algorithmic"black box"underlying GAI;third,enhance users'GAI literacy to support informed participation in co-creation.These strategies aim to mitigate quality risks at their source and promote the effective,responsible,and sustainable application of GAI in the development of digital educational resource.关键词
