2023年元宵节湖北省一次重污染过程的气象成因分析
Meteorological Causes of a Severe Air Pollution Event in Hubei during the Lantern Festival in 2023

Abstract
This study analyzed the meteorological causes of a severe air pollution event in Hubei Province during the 2023 Lantern Festival(February 4-7,2023)using meteorological observations,air quality data,ERA5 reanalysis,and GDAS data.The analysis focused on synoptic circulation,atmospheric dynamics,thermal conditions,and pollutant trajectories.Key findings include:Six cities experienced heavy pollution(AQI≥200),with Xiangyang affected earliest and Jingzhou recording the highest AQI(215).The event progressed through three phases:transportation phase:pre-cold-front transport dominated initial PM2.5 accumulation;Accumulation phase:stagnant conditions(weak winds<2 m/s,convergence,high humidity,temperature inversion)under a uniform pressure field,mid-level(700 hPa)warm ridge,and low-level(925 hPa)weak cold advection,combined with fireworks emissions on February 5,exacerbated pollution;Dissipation phase:pollutants were cleared by the Lake Baikal cold high and frontal precipitation.Trajectory analysis revealed Xiangyang's PM2.5 primarily originated from southern Henan,while Jingzhou's pollution was influenced by local emissions from Suizhou..关键词
