摘要

Abstract

This research addresses four key challenges faced by AI general education courses in universities:the variety of student learning needs,the rapid velocity of knowledge updates,the growing volume of course enrollment,and the imperative to cultivate core values.The study constructs a differentiated instruction model based on the Zone of Proximal Development theory and Cognitive Flexibility Theory,specifically tailored to students with diverse disciplinary backgrounds:science,engineering,agriculture and medicine;humanities and social sciences;humanities and arts.Using Zhejiang University's AI general education courses as a pilot,the study adopts a mixed-methods approach to evaluate the model's effectiveness.Results demonstrate significant improvement in students'AI knowledge,technical application skills,and interdisciplinary competence,though limited effectiveness was observed in fostering ethical awareness.Accordingly,the study proposes several optimization strategies:constructing a multi-dimensional instructional framework that progressively supports students'development zones;building intelligent system for teaching resources generation;developing adaptive,multi-criteria evaluation systems;and advancing the curriculum design of AI ethics education.These strategies aim to systematically improve instructional quality of AI general education while providing theoretical and practical guidance for ongoing educational reforms.
