Abstract

To improve energy utilization in the sintering process,Meishan Steel conducted re-search and practices to reduce ignition gas consumption and increase waste heat recovery steam.For reducing ignition gas consumption,measures such as adjusting the air-fuel ratio,applying micro-negative pressure ignition technology,and optimizing ignition control reduced the ignition gas con-sumption of the No.3 sintering machine from 710 m³/h to 590 m³/h,lowering costs by 0.96 yuan per ton of ore.For increasing waste heat recovery steam,optimizations in circular cooler automatic cloth technology and air intake temperature raised steam production from 82.4 kg/t to 88.29 kg/t.
