Bioinformatics Analysis of the GGPS Gene in Dendrobium Officinale
目的:对铁皮石斛GGPS基因家族进行分析,旨在通过此实验对该基因的编码信息、功能以及同源序列亲缘关系有更深刻的认识.方法:利用生物信息学的分析方法对铁皮石斛GGPS基因家族的三个基因进行了氨基酸理化性质分析、蛋白质二级结构和三级结构预测、氨基酸序列比对以及构建遗传进化树等,全面解析GGPS基因家族成员的生理生化作用.结果:GGPS基因由三个亚基组成,即:DoGGPS、DoGGR和DoGGPPS1,这三条蛋白都是不稳定的,都不含有信号肽位点,DoGGR和DoGGPPS1 有糖基化位点,三条蛋白都不具有跨膜结构,二级结构以α螺旋为主.结论:通过对GGPS基因的生信分析,有助于我们后期对其克隆和进行进一步的功能研究.
Objective To analyze the GGPS gene family in Dendrobium officinale,aiming to understand its coding informa-tion,function,and homology relationships.Methods Bioinformatics was employed to assess the physicochemical properties of the amino acids of three genes in the GGPS gene family,predict protein secondary and tertiary structures,perform amino acid sequence alignment,and construct phylogenetic trees.Comprehensive insights into the physiological and biochemical roles of the GGPS gene family members were gathered.Results The GGPS gene consisted of three subunits,namely,DoG-GPPS,DoGGR,and DoGGPPS1.These three proteins were characterized as unstable and did not contain signal peptide sites.DoGGR and DoGGPPS1 had glycosylation sites,and none of the three proteins possessed transmembrane structures,with secondary structures predominantly consisting of α-helices.Conclusion The bioinformatics analysis of the GGPS gene is conducive to the cloning and further functional research of this gene.
