Epidemiological characteristics and pathogenic mecha-nisms of vitiligo in children and adolescents
摘要
Abstract
Epidemiological studies indicate that the preva-lence of vitiligo among children and adolescents ranges from 0.04％to 2.16％,who are aged primarily from 3 to 8 years old.The pathogenesis of vitiligo in children involves autoimmune responses,genetic susceptibility,and oxidative stress.Additionally,environmental factors such as sun exposure and contact with chemical substances,as well as deficiency in micronutrients,are closely associated with the onset of vitiligo.Overall,the pathogenesis of vitiligo in children and adolescents is complex,necessitating further research to develop effective treatment strategies tailored to this population,in order to address the differences in treatment responses from adults.关键词
