摘要

Abstract

The improvement of talent competitiveness is of great significance for building a talent highland.This paper establishes an indicator system from five aspects,including talent attraction,talent cultivation,talent retention,talent environment,and talent innovation.The entropy method,relative development rate(Nich value),and Dagum Gini coefficient are adopted to analyze the evolution of and difference in spatial-temporal patterns of talent competitiveness in 11 cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from 2013 to 2022.As shown by the results,(1)in terms of timing,the overall talent competitiveness of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is on the rise,with Hong Kong consistently ranking first in talent competitiveness,Guangzhou and Shenzhen rapidly improving in talent competitiveness,ranking second and third,and Macao ranking fourth;(2)in terms of space,the talent competitiveness in the central region of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is relatively prominent,while the talent competitiveness in the eastern and western regions is relatively weak;(3)in terms of difference,the overall talent competitiveness gap in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has been narrowed.Therefore,this paper proposes suggestions of leveraging the driving role of core cities,cultivating new talent competitiveness growth poles within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,and promoting coordinated development of talent competitiveness,and provides feasible recommendations for talent development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
