Advances in the Role of Second Messenger cGMP on the Maturation of Mammalian Oocytes
摘要
Abstract
Cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cGMP)is a class of cyclic nucleotides that act as second messengers in cells,transmitting extracellular signals to intracellular targets.Follicular development and oogenesis are key events in female reproductive activity.Although the role of cGMP in mammalian female reproductive activity has been studied for a long time,its important role in oocyte maturation has only received widespread attention in recent years.This review will examine the progress of research on the source of cGMP in mammalian ovaries and the effects of cGMP-related pathways in oocyte maturation,granulosa cell apoptosis and follicular atresia.It aims to provide a new perspective for understanding the molecular regulatory mechanisms of mammalian oocyte maturation and development,as well as a theoretical basis for the development of efficient animal reproductive technologies.关键词
