Advances in the Application of Tea By-products in Livestock and Poultry Production
摘要
Abstract
China is a major country in livestock and poultry breeding,with a huge demand for feed.China is also a major producer of tea,with high tea production.Most tea is only used for drinking and industrial processing,and its by-products,such as tea residue and tea powder,are rarely developed and utilized.However,tea by-products contain a variety of nutrients,such as polyphenols,alkaloids,and polysaccharides,which have high nutritional value.Studies have shown that the bioactive components in tea can improve the production performance and immune performance of livestock and poultry,and improve meat quality.This article summarizes the current utilization status of tea by-products in China,the active components and biological functions of tea,and its application in livestock and poultry production,providing a reference for the development and utilization of tea and by-products.关键词
