Research Progress on the Damage Mechanism of Goat Semen Cryopreservation
摘要
Abstract
Semen cryopreservation,as an important part of artificial insemination technology for livestock,plays a crucial role in the preservation of germplasm resources and the transmission of excellent genes.However,goat sperm is highly sensitive to low temperatures due to its unique physiological characteristics-high water content,membrane rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids.Changes in temperature and osmotic pressure during cryopreservation make it easy for ice crystals and high levels of reactive oxygen speciesto form inside goat sperm,causing mechanical damage and oxidative stress,resulting in decreased sperm motility and fertilization ability.In the cryopreservation of goat sperm,the damage to sperm during freezing and thawing can be effectively reduced by processing the semen before freezing,optimizing the freezing process,and improving the cryoprotectant to optimize the recovery method,significantly improving the quality of goat semen after freezing and thawing.This article reviews the potential mechanisms of damage to goat sperm during cryopreservation,with the aim of providing reference for optimizing the cryopreservation plan of goat semen.关键词
