Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of dexmedetomidine during the recovery period of general anesthesia for tonsillectomy in children with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods Fifty-four children with OSAHS who underwent tonsillectomy and were admitted to Yunfu People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 27 cases in each group.The observation group was intravenously pumped with dexmedetomidine at 0.1 µg/kg for 10 minutes before induction of general anesthesia,while the control group was intravenously infused with the same amount of 0.9%sodium chloride injection.The hemodynamic indicators(heart rate,mean arterial pressure,blood oxygen saturation),stress response indicators(fasting blood glucose,cortisol level),clinical related indicators(restlessness score,pain score,choking cough response score)and the restlessness during the recovery period of the two groups of children at different time points were compared.Results From T0 to T5,there were no significant differences in heart rate,mean arterial pressure,blood oxygen saturation,fasting blood glucose and cortisol levels among the observation group(P＞0.05).From T3 to T4,when the heart rate,mean arterial pressure,fasting blood glucose and cortisol level of the control group were higher than those at T0,and the blood oxygen saturation was lower than that at T0,the observation group was superior to the control group in the same period,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The restlessness score,pain score and choking cough response score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The restlessness rating during the recovery period in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of dexmedetomidine during the recovery period of general anesthesia for tonsillectomy in children with OSAHS can effectively relieve body pain,improve the hemodynamic stability of children,reduce the body's stress response,and decrease the occurrence of restlessness during the recovery period.关键词
