杞菊地黄丸联合七叶洋地黄双苷滴眼液对糖尿病周围神经病变患者视功能及眼底病的影响
Influence of Qiju Rehmannia Pills combined with Seven-leaf Rehmannia Diglycoside Eye Drops on Visual Function and Retinal Diseases in Patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of Qiju Rehmannia Pills combined with Seven-leaf Rehmannia Diglycoside Eye Drops on visual function and retinal diseases in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods One hundred patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from October 2022 to October 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the conventional group and the combined group,with 50 cases in each group.The conventional group was treated with Seven-leaf Rehmannia Diglycoside Eye Drops,while the combined group was treated with Qiju Rehmannia Pills combined with Seven-leaf Rehmannia Diglycoside Eye Drops.The therapeutic effects,visual functions(best corrected visual acuity,average visual field sensitivity),macular results(macular fovea thickness,bleeding spot area),serum biochemical indicators[vascular endothelial growth factor(VPF),hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1)],and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).Two weeks after treatment,compared with before treatment,the best corrected visual acuity of both groups decreased,the average visual field sensitivity increased,and the best corrected visual acuity of the combined group was lower than that of the conventional group,while the average visual field sensitivity was higher than that of the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the thickness of the fovea centralis and the area of the bleeding macula in both groups decreased,and the thickness of the fovea centralis and the area of the bleeding macula in the combined group were lower than those in the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the levels of VPF and HIF-1 in both groups decreased,and the levels of VPF and HIF-1 in the combined group were lower than those in the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the conventional group and the combined group(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Qiju Rehmannia Pills and Seven-leaf Rehmannia Diglycoside Eye Drops has a remarkable therapeutic effect on diabetic peripheral neuropathy.It can effectively improve the visual function of patients,alleviate fundus lesions,and has a relatively high safety.关键词
