Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor combined with pranoprofen treatment on the basal tear secretion and tear film stability of patients with dry eye syndrome after phacoemulsification for cataract.Methods Ninety patients with dry eye syndrome after phacoemulsification for cataract who were treated in Suzhou Municipal Hospital from September 2021 to September 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Pranoprofen eye drops,while the observation group was treated with Pranoprofen eye drops combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor eye drops.The dry eye symptom scores,basal tear secretion,corneal fluorescein staining scores,tear film break-up time before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients.Results Compared with before treatment,after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the dry eye symptom score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05),basal tear secretion,and tear film break-up time were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05),and the corneal fluorescein staining score was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor combined with pranoprofen can effectively improve the basal tear secretion and tear film stability of patients with dry eye syndrome after phacoemulsification for cataract,with good therapeutic effect and high safety.关键词
