Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of sodium aesculin for injection on pain degree and inflammatory factors in patients with postoperative swelling after traumatic limb fracture. Methods A total of 87 patients with postoperative swelling after traumatic limb fractures admitted to the 967th Hospital of the Joint Logistic Support Force of the People's Liberation Army of China from May 2021 to October 2023 were selected and divided into Group Ⅰ(n=43)and Group Ⅱ(n=44)according to different treatment methods.Patients in Group Ⅱ were given mannitol injection, and patients in group I were treated with sodium aescinate for injection in addition to those in Group Ⅱ.The swelling status, pain degree, inflammatory factor levels, therapeutic effect and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups of patients were compared. Results Seven days after administration, the scores of swelling area and swelling degree in group Ⅰ were lower than those in group Ⅱ(P<0.05).Seven days after administration, the VAS score of group Ⅰ was lower than that of group Ⅱ(P<0.05).Seven days after administration, the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)in group Ⅰ were all lower than those in group Ⅱ(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in group Ⅰ was 95.35%,significantly higher than 79.55%in groupⅡ(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in group Ⅰ was 11.63%,slightly higher than 9.09%in group Ⅱ,but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of postoperative swelling in patients with traumatic limb fractures using sodium aescinate for injection can significantly improve the swelling condition, reduce the degree of pain, lower the levels of inflammatory factors, increase the effective rate of treatment, and has a relatively high safety.关键词
