Abstract

Objective To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of the contents of four components in Isatidis Indigotica samples by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and to evaluate the quality of Isatidis Indigotica.Methods The content determination of four components,namely(R,S)-hyacinol,guanosine,uridine and adenosine,was established by HPLC.Cluster analysis and Pearson correlation analysis were conducted on the contents of the four components in the Isatis Indigotica samples.Results The established HPLC for one test and multiple evaluations can be used for the simultaneous determination of four components(R,S)in Isatidis Radix-acanthopterine,guanosine,uridine and adenosine.Pearson correlation analysis revealed that there were partial correlations among the four components in Isatidis Indigotica.Among them,(R,S)-Aconitum was negatively correlated with the content of uridine,and the content of uridine was positively correlated with that of guanosine.Conclusion The establishment of an HPLC for the simultaneous determination of four components features high sensitivity,strong specificity,good precision,and excellent repeatability and reliability.Combined with stoichiometric analysis,it can reflect the differences in the quality of Isatidis Indigotica as a whole,comprehensively and truly,and has certain guiding significance for the quality control and overall evaluation of Isatidis Indigotica.
