Clinical research progress on the treatment of myopia in children and adolescents with massage and its combination with other traditional Chinese medicine external treatment methods from 2019 to 2024
摘要
Abstract
Myopia is a disease in which parallel rays of light are refracted by the refractive system of the eye while the eye is in a relaxed state,and the focus falls in front of the retina,mainly manifested as a decrease in far vision.This article screens and organizes literature on the treatment of myopia in children and adolescents with massage and other traditional Chinese medicine external treatment methods from 2019 to 2024,covering both individual massage therapy and its combined application with acupuncture,moxibustion,ear acupressure,scraping therapy,etc.Research has found that massage and combined therapy are more effective in the treatment of myopia in children and adolescents than conventional drug therapy,and have good long-term efficacy,which is worthy of clinical promotion.Simultaneously,the analysis of the literature found that there are problems in current research such as limited application of massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine,failure to distinguish and compare treatment techniques and efficacy between true and false myopia,and single observation indices for efficacy.In the future,more standardized research should be conducted on myopia diagnosis,classification,treatment techniques,and efficacy evaluation to promote the widespread application of massage and combined therapy in the prevention and treatment of myopia in children and adolescents.关键词
