消渴明目汤治疗糖尿病性眼肌麻痹的疗效机制研究
Research on therapeutic efficacy mechanism of Xiaoke Mingmu Decoction in the treatment of diabetes ophthalmoplegia

Abstract
Objective To seek a superior scheme of traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacy treatment to improve the therapeutic efficacy and compliance of diabetes ophthalmoplegia.Methods A total of 60 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)with ophthalmoplegia who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jilin Medical University from May 2023 to February 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group(n=30)and the control group(n=30).The control group was treated with pancreatic kininogenase tablets,mecobalamin tablets,lipoic acid and epalrestat orally for 4 weeks,while the treatment group was treated with Xiaoke Mingmu Decoction,1 dose per day.The residue in gauze was wrapped and hot compress was applied to the eyes for 20 minutes,once a day for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks,both groups were examined by ophthalmologists to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of ophthalmoplegia.Simultaneously,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the improvement of symptoms,psychological burden,prescription treatment compliance,economic burden and treatment satisfaction of patients.Results The cure rate and total effective rate in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,and the patients'satisfaction score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Xiaoke Mingmu Decoction,a Chinese materia medica prescription,has a good efficacy on diabetes ophthalmoplegia,and its combined application with western medicine can improve the therapeutic efficacy and has relatively good treatment compliance.关键词
