Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of sodium hyaluronate combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor in the treatment of postoperative dry eye syndrome in patients after cataract surgery.Methods A total of 120 patients with dry eye syndrome after cataract surgery admitted to and treated in the Department of Ophthalmology of the First People's Hospital of Lanzhou City from August 2022 to February 2024 were selected,and they were divided into the control group(n=60,treated with sodium hyaluronate)and the observation group(n=60,treated with sodium hyaluronate and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor)according to the random number table method.The clinical efficacy,tear inflammatory factors,dry eye related indices were compared,and safety analysis between two groups was conducted.Results After treatment,the clinical overall response rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The length of the Schirmer Ⅰ test(SIT)and the fluorescein breakup time(FBUT)were longer than those of the control group.The levels of interleukin(IL)-1β and IL-8 in tears and corneal fluorescein stain(CFS)score were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of sodium hyaluronate and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor can effectively treat patients with dry eye syndrome after cataract surgery,improve their eye symptoms and tear function,reduce the level of inflammatory factors in tears,and have good safety without increasing adverse reactions.关键词
