Efficacy of Fuzhiqing ointment combined with Cuyutang on wound healing in patients after anal fistula surgery and the impact on the expression levels of serum exosomal miR-150 and miR-214-3p

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuzhiqing ointment combined with Cuyutang on wound healing in patients after anal fistula surgery and its impact on the expression levels of serum exosomal miR-150 and miR-214-3p.Methods Between May 2022 and October 2023,120 patients with anal fistula who underwent surgery at Xianyang First People's Hospital were randomly divided into a control group(receiving only conventional treatment)and a study group(receiving conventional treatment plus Fuzhiqing ointment and Cuyutang).Both groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks.Compare the clinical treatment efficacy and serum exosomal miR-150 and miR-214-3p expression levels between two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the clinical efficacy and wound healing rate of the study group were significantly improved,especially on the 3rd,7th and 14th day after surgery,the expression levels of serum exosomes miR-150 and miR-214-3p were also higher in the study group.In addition,wound symptom scores and anal incontinence Wexner scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group on the 1st,7th and 14th day after surgery.Statistical analysis showed that at different time points,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Topical application of Fuzhiqing ointment combined with Cuyutang around the anus can improve clinical efficacy,promote wound healing in patients after anal fistula surgery,restore anal function,and may be related to upregulation of serum exosomal miR-150 and miR-214-3p expression levels.关键词
