Abstract
This paper focuses on the Baoxiang flower pattern,expounding its development history.Influenced by Buddhist culture since the Northern and Southern Dynasties,it transformed from mythical beast patterns to flower and plant patterns,reaching its peak in the Sui and Tang dynasties.The paper introduces its definition,constituent elements such as lotus patterns and honeysuckle patterns.Its shapes include structures like the"cross"benchmark,"rice"character,and circular radiation.The colors are bright,full,and harmoniously unified.It embodies auspicious meanings bestowed by both Buddhism and the common people,is a crystallization of ancient culture and art,and holds great value for the inheritance of modern design.关键词
