石漠化区先锋植物及施肥对蒜头果直播造林的影响
Effects of pioneer plants and fertilization on Malania oleifera direct seeding in rock desertification region

Abstract
[Objective]This study employed a pot experiment to investigate the nurse effect of pioneer plants and their fertilizer treatments on the direct seeding of Malania oleifera.[Method]A pot experiment was conducted to study the germination,seedling growth,and leaf traits of M.oleifera seeds under different life forms of pioneer plants,including Apluda mutica,Neyraudia reynaudiana,Vitex negundo,and Delavaya toxocarpa,as well as under three fertilization treatments(no fertilization,10 g fertilization,and 20 g fertilization).[Result]The results showed that the four pioneer plants significantly reduced solar intensity and average temperature under the canopy in summer.However,the effects of pioneer plants on seed germination and survival rate of M.oleifera were not distinctly observed.The facilitation effect of the four pioneer plants on the height growth of M.oleifera seedlings decreased with increasing fertilization,while the inhibitory effect on basal diameter growth increased with increasing fertilization.V.negundo exhibited a significant facilitation effect on the height growth of M.oleifera seedlings across all fertilization treatments(P<0.05),whereas A.mutica,D.toxocarpa,and N.reynaudiana showed a significant inhibitory effect on the basal diameter growth of M.oleifera seedlings under all fertilization treatments.The SPAD value of leaves,average single leaf area,and specific leaf area of M.oleifera seedlings under pioneer plants were larger than those outside,with significant differences observed between under the effect of pioneer plants and the exterior,except for the average single leaf area under A.mutica.[Conclusion]V.negundo emerges as a favorable choice as a nurse plant in the direct seeding of M.oleifera,contributing to improved seedling growth and establishment.The results of this study will provide guidance for vegetation restoration and Malania oleifera afforestation in rocky desertification areas in southwest China.关键词
