固本益肠补虚方治疗直肠前切除综合征的临床研究及对炎症细胞因子的影响
Clinical Study on the Treatment of Anterior Rectal Resection Syndrome with Guben Yichang Buxu Formula and Its Effect on Inflammatory Cytokines

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of the Guben Yichang Buxu Formula for treating anterior rectal resection syndrome and its effect on inflammatory cytokines.Methods:A total of 120 patients diagnosed with anterior rectal resection syndrome at Tangshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were randomly divided into a control group(n=60)and a treatment group(n=60).Both groups received standard treatment and care.The control group was administered cellulose tablets orally,2 g once daily,for 8 weeks.The treatment group received the Guben Yichang Buxu Formula as a combination of oral and enema therapies,with 150 mL of decoction taken orally in the morning and administered via enema in the evening,for 8 weeks.Subjective scales[LARS Scale,Wexner Fecal Incontinence Score,EORTC QLQ-C30(V3.0),and Xu Zhongfa's"5-item 10-point Rectal Function Score"],objective laboratory indicators(TNF-α,IL-6,IL-17),and safety indicators were compared between the groups before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,subjective scale scores and inflammatory cytokine levels improved significantly in both groups compared to baseline(P<0.05).The treatment group showed significantly lower LARS scores and Wexner Fecal Incontinence scores than the control group(P<0.05)and significantly higher QLQ-C30 and Xu Zhongfa rectal function scores(P<0.05).TNF-α,IL-6,and IL-17 levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than in the control group(P<0.05).No abnormalities or adverse reactions were observed in the safety indicators in either group.Conclusion:The Guben Yichang Buxu Formula effectively improves rectal function and quality of life in patients with anterior rectal resection syndrome,reduces inflammatory cytokine levels,and demonstrates significant clinical efficacy and safety.关键词
